This can be dangerous because you could lose out on money if you are selling said item/s. Alternatively, the appraiser could value your antiques or collectables way to high and you could be ridiculed for asking the price that they give you when selling.

In our experience through many disappointments in the past, there is only a couple of online antique appraisal services that you can use in order to get an accurate value for your antiques. We know this because with us being in the house clearance industry, we have had to get thousands of antiques appraised on our customers behalf over the years. In the past we used certain sites for online appraisals (that we won’t mention the names of) and they were disappointing to say the least. They are roughly the same price of around $30/£25 and offer appraisals and valuations of all categories. Each appraisal from both sites usually takes around 24-48 hours.
We have always found that The Antique Appraisal Company deliver their appraisals a little bit quicker and their descriptions are a bit more in-depth but as stated, neither company will let you down.
