House Clearance Dumbarton

Case Study Of A House Clearance In Dumbarton

Our client in this case was a landlord on quite a large scale in the city and he’d just bought another property at auction in Dumbarton. His modus operandi was to buy rundown properties, refurbish them quickly, and then rent them out unfurnished. We’d actually done several house clearances for him before.

We were asked to clear and clean the property, which was a four bedroomed town house a mile or so from the centre of North Shields. We were to remove everything that we came across right down to the carpets and curtains.

Because there was a gas cooker to remove we were asked to arrange for this to be disconnected by a Gas Safe engineer. There was also some rubbish in the garden to be cleared.

Dumbarton House Clearance Overview

Our team of five arrived at the property at 8 am and we parked our vans in the driveway. After carrying out an assessment of the work we started to clear the house.

We removed all of the furniture and household effects from the property, followed by the rubbish from the garden, loading everything into our vans and separating it for reusing or recycling as we went.

The Gas Safe engineer arrived to disconnect the gas cooker, and we removed all of the white goods from the kitchen. After removing the carpets and underlay, and the curtains, we cleaned the property from top to bottom so that it was left in excellent condition, and then we handed over the keys to our client.

Dumbarton Disposal of House Contents

Much of the furniture was in a good enough condition to be reused, so we donated these items to various charities in the Dumbarton area. Some items had to be sent to the recycling centre, but only a few bags of rubbish were sent to landfill, making this a very satisfactory job all round.

Dumbarton Client Comments

Our client checked over the property at the end of the day and was, as usual, impressed by our professional manner and the speed in which we completed the house clearance and the deep clean. He said he would be in touch next time he needed a clearance.
